Your Bed and BreakfastReservation Includes:
While staying at Thornewood Castle, you can enjoy our lovely elegant common rooms, 3 acres of grounds and lake front, the 1/2 acre sunken perennial English garden designed by the famous Olmsted brothers, a summer porch with a lake view, a beautiful loggia, and a piano in the Great Hall for your pleasure.
Ping pong and lawn games are available in season, there's a pool table and lots of games in the Game Room, good books in the Library, and a video/DVD library for our TV/Theater rooms. Some rooms have wireless internet and wireless internet is available in the Great Hall.
Breakfast can either be delivered to your room, or you can have breakfast downstairs in the castle ball room.
B&B Room Reservation Policies:
Payment in full required at time of reservation. This guarantees your specific requested room & date(s). We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and checks (payment by check acceptable if made 7 or more days prior to arrival). Thornewood Castle is located in a private gated community. Advance reservations are required. We do not accept walk-up guests.
B&B Room Reschedule Policy:
You can reschedule a reservation without fee or penalty if rescheduled more than 72 hours in advance of scheduled arrival.
B&B Room Cancellation Policy:
Full refund, less a $50.00 per per per night cancellation fee, if canceled more than 7 days in advance. No refund for nights cancelled less than 7 days in advance. (Please also see reschedule policy above).
B&B Check In/Check Out:
Check In Time is 4 to 6 PM. You may arrive later but we ask that you let us know if you need to arrive later. Our Check Out Time is 11 AM.
Other Important B&B Policies:
- No smoking inside the house nor inside any room, at any time.
- No pets are allowed at any time.
- No children under the age of 12 may stay overnight or visit upstairs.
- Maximum occupancy of two people per room.
- Only registered guests are allowed inside the house (i.e. no visitors are allowed inside the house, upstairs or on the grounds, except briefly to pick you up or drop you off).
