A favorite photo opportunity is our 500 year-old English stairway.  Almost 100 years ago Chester Thorne literally bought a 400 year-old English Castle and shipped all it's pieces, brick by brick, including it's stairway, around the horn on 3 sailing ships here to the Northwest, to be rebuilt into Thornewood Castle. The stained glass is also 500 years old.
