Apartments adjoining Thornewood Castle. Features vary and include king beds, full kitchens, remodeled bathrooms, dining area, living rooms, lake views, and private balcony decks. Taxes not included. Prices are subject to change.

Your Vacation Rental Reservation Includes:

While staying at Thornewood Castle, you can enjoy our lovely elegant common rooms, 3 acres of grounds and lake front, the 1/2 acre sunken perennial English garden designed by the famous Olmsted brothers, a summer porch with a lake view, a beautiful loggia, and a piano in the Great Hall for your pleasure.

There's a pool table and lots of games in the Game Room, good books in the Library, and a video library in our Movie Room. Some rooms have wireless internet and wireless internet is available in the Great Hall. Wireless internet is available in Lakeside and Lyoness.

Breakfast is not included.

Vacation Rental Reservation Policies:

Payment in full required at time of reservation. This guarantees your specific requested room & date(s). We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and checks (payment by check acceptable if made 7 or more days prior to arrival). Thornewood Castle is located in a private gated community. Advance reservations are required. We do not accept walk-up guests.

Vacation Rental Reschedule Policy:

You can reschedule a reservation without fee or penalty if rescheduled more than 72 hours in advance of scheduled arrival.

Vacation Rental Cancellation Policy:

Full refund, less a $75.00 per per per night cancellation fee, if canceled more than 7 days in advance. No refund for nights cancelled less than 7 days in advance. (Please also see reschedule policy above).

Vacation Rental Check In/Check Out:

Check In Time is 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. You may arrive later, but we ask that you let us know if you need to. Our Check Out Time is 11:00 a.m.

Other Important Vacation Rental Policies:

No smoking inside the house nor inside any room, at any time.
No pets are allowed at any time.
No children under the age of 12 may visit upstairs within the Castle without parental supervision.
Maximum occupancy of two people per bedroom, unless otherwise stated.
Only registered guests are allowed inside the house. No visitors are allowed inside the house or on the grounds except briefly to pick you up or drop you off.
