Our eight rooms or suites are as follows (photos, descriptions and prices are included on the following links). They are (1) Anna's Suite, (2) The Blue Room, (3) Chester's, (4) Grand View Suite, (5) Lord Byron's Attic Suite, (6) Presidential, (7) Rose Red/Sewing Room Suite and the (8) Casa Blanca/Gold Room Suite. There is also a wonderful fully-furnished adjoining Lyoness Apartment/Suite available for short or long-term rental. A gracious, refreshing step back in time for a romantic or renewing getaway. Guests must be over the age of twelve to spend the night at Thornewood. Rates are based on up to double occupancy. Please also see reservation and cancellation policies below. All suites include... (many rooms have wireless internet) Our B&B has... lovely elegant common rooms, 3 acres of grounds and lake front, 1/2 acre sunken perennial English garden designed by the famous Olmsted brothers, an outdoor hot tub with a lake view, a beautiful loggia, and a piano in the Great Hall for your pleasure. Fax available. King or queen size beds and some rooms include fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs or antique soaking tubs. Ping pong, lawn games available in season, plus lots of games, good books and a video/DVD library. Breakfast can either be delivered to your room, or you can have breakfast downstairs in the Castle dining room. |

**B&B Room Reservation Policies**:
Payment in full required at time of reservation. This guarantees your specific requested room & date(s).
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and checks (payment by check acceptable if made 7 or more days prior to arrival). Thornewood Castle is located in a private gated community. Advance reservations are required. We do not accept walk-up guests. ***B&B Room Reschedule Policy***: You can reschedule a reservation without fee or penalty if rescheduled more than 72 hours in advance of scheduled arrival.
****B&B Room Cancellation Policy****: Full refund, less a $50.00 per night cancellation fee, if canceled more than 7 days in advance. No refund for nights cancelled less than 7 days in advance. (Please also see reschedule policy above). Other Important Policies: Check In Time is 4 to 6 PM. You may arrive later but we ask that you let us know if you need to arrive later. Our Check Out Time is 11 AM. No smoking inside the house nor inside any room, at any time. No pets are allowed at any time. No children under the age of 12. Maximum occupancy of two people per room. Only registered guests are allowed inside the house (i.e. no visitors are allowed inside the house, upstairs or on the grounds, except briefly to pick you up or drop you off) |
